The process begins as the pulp makes its way through the feed pipe into the magnetic separator's distributor, dispersing evenly over the iron strip atop the magnetic plate. Gravity guides the slurry downward along the inclined magnetic plate, where the robust magnetic field secures ferromagnetic particles onto the iron strip. As the motor-driven iron strip rotates atop the inclined magnetic plate, these ferromagnetic particles are conveyed into the iron unloading zone. Here, washing water directs them into the tailings bucket for collection, while non-magnetic slurry descends the magnetic plate and flows seamlessly into the concentrate bucket, ensuring efficient separation.
